Sanmarcos or Retablo

The work of art is named "Sanmarcos or Retablo" it were found about the 1940s by Alicia Bustamante He called those boxes retablos which translates as “behind the actor” It is made of wood, leather, powdered gypsum. It looks like Chinese Shadow Play that everything can shows on the small stage or a box. There are about ten gypsum figure and animals in the box, their cloths and body are used bright color and their expression is rich in addition these gypsums have several of postures. Some are standing, some are sitting, and some are playing instruments. There are also some religions characters and some animals like sheep, dog and cows, these gypsum portrait normal people's daily life.
